Each of our Pet Cremation Packages includes the following:
Fur clipping; private/individual cremation; identification tracking process; personalized certificate of cremation; packet of grief support information; and a personalized online memorial. Your pet's cremation will normally take place within 2 days (Monday through Friday) following the day we receive your pet into our care. Example: if we receive your pet on Tuesday, the cremation will normally be done on Wednesday or Thursday. If we receive your pet on Friday, the cremation will be done on Monday or Tuesday.
Important pricing notes about packages:
(1) All cremation packages are priced for pets between 4-25 lbs. See the following information for weight-related discounts or additional charges based on your pet’s weight.
(Please deduct $70.00 from package prices for pets under 4 lbs.)
(Please add the appropriate amount shown for pets weighing over 25 lbs. For pets 26-50 lbs. add $35.00; 51-80 lbs. add $80.00; 81-125 lbs. add $140.00; 126-175 lbs. add $195.00; 176-275 lbs. add $260.00.)
(2) All cremation packages are figured based on families bringing their pet to our facility during normal business hours Monday – Saturday from 10am to 5pm. After-hours receiving and pet transfer fees can be found below the four cremation package offerings.

Receiving Fees
When a pet is brought into our care during our normal office hours, Monday through Saturday from 10am to 5pm, there is no receiving fee.
Important Note: If you prefer to personally transport your pet into our care, please call us to schedule an appointment before leaving your home or veterinary clinic. This will help us to be able to serve you promptly upon your arrival.
$ 75.00 for pets up to 35 lbs.
$150.00 for pets over 35 lbs. due to the need to bring in two staff members after normal office hours to lift larger pets.
Transfer/Pickup Fees
$75.00 When we transfer your pet into our care from your home or Veterinary Clinic during normal office hours, Monday through Saturday from 10am to 5pm, within 40 miles from our Pet Loss Center in Saluda, VA. Extra mileage is $2.25 per mile.
When we transfer your pet into our care outside of our normal office hours, Monday through Saturday, or anytime on a Sunday or Holiday, (*see note below regarding holidays), within 40 miles from our Pet Loss Center in Saluda, VA. Extra mileage is $2.25. per mile. The following fees apply:
$175.00 for pets up to 35 lbs.
$225.00 for pets over 35 lbs. due to the need to bring in two staff members after normal office hours to lift larger pets.
*Holidays are Christmas Day, New Years Day, Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day.
Important Pricing Notes:
For burial of pets from 51 – 125 lbs., please add $100.00. For burial of pets over 125 lbs., a price will be quoted based on the weight of your pet.
If your pet needs to be transported to the place of burial, a price will be quoted based on the weight of your pet and distance to be transported.
