Trigger Taylor

June 1, 2005 - December 5, 2023


Born in Mathews County, Virginia on the banks of the East River, Trigger crossed the Rainbow Bridge surrounded by the people that he loved in Henrico County, Virginia on Tuesday, December 5, 2023. He was 18 years old.

Trigger was one of four puppies born under a riverfront home. Naturally, Trig was a water bug. Even a fishing hook to the nose did not deter him from living his best salt life. He was welcomed into Harry and Margaret's home with open arms, and was the most loyal, laidback, and loving dog anyone could have met. His tail was always wagging, right up to the end. In his 18 years, he lived life to the fullest, helped along with his two knee replacements.

A regional traveler, Trig loved car rides, going to the beach, and was a repeat offender in the pound. Trig did not meet anyone he didn't like, with the exception of the local buzzards that spurred his PTSD from a run in with large avians.

Trigger is survived by his mother and father, Harry and Margaret; human siblings Harry III (Autumn) and Marie (Warren); and human nephews, Lex and Harry IV. Trigger will be met at the Bridge with joyous barks by his canine family members, Riley and Ziggy, his three siblings, and his mother, Abby.
